This course is intended to be a resource for the Islamic Volunteer: Muslims involved in Islamic work in the form of groups and organisations (ISOC, Youth Groups, Mosques, Charity, Dawah or any other type of organised and collective work). Students will be introduced to powerful mindsets necessary for them to participate and excel as an Islamic Volunteer. 

Some of these mindsets are:

  • Islam gives more when there is more
  • Anything flourishes with structures, even when few in number
  • The greatest catalyst is barakah

  • Bravery of the soul is in the loftiness and weight of intentions

Shaykh Abu Ubaid

Shaykh Abu Ubaid has spent almost 15 years abroad studying Islam in Bangladesh, Egypt and Mauritania. He is the Founder and Dean of Studies of Dar Al-Arqam, London UK, where he is also the lead instructor for many of its courses. He is also a Khateeb, board member and consultant to a number of organisations and businesses.
